Control Panel Workshop Operative

• Contract: Full time / Permanent
• Working Hours: 38 hours
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience.
• Reporting To: Workshop Manager
• Location: Unit C2, 20 Heron Rd, Belfast Harbour Estate, Belfast BT3 9LE

All training will be provided for this role.

Main Responsibilities

After training, your responsibilities will include:

• Assemble Modular Steelwork;
• Installation of electrical control panel components;
• Drilling, cutting, fitting out of control panel doors.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Demonstrate their ability for drive and enthusiasm in completing their workload and have the ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Be a good team member and demonstrate ability to work unsupervised.
• Good organisational skills including time management.
• Ability to liaise successfully with management, operational, technical and engineering staff to ensure delivery of effective and efficient service.
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible approach to working hours to meet client requirements

Essential Criteria

• Proven experience in use of hand and power tools

Desirable Criteria

• Control Panel / Switchboard manufacturing experience;
• Hold a full driving license
• Previous Workshop Experience
